Specialist Postnatal Doula Support

The birth of a new baby can be a time of great joy and excitement, but the transition to new (or even second or third time) parenthood can also be a uniquely challenging time, both physically and emotionally.

As a Postnatal Doula, I offer skilled, empathic support from the moment your baby is born. Whether you need help with feeding or caring for your colicky or unsettled baby, support in recovering from the physical and emotional impact of birth,  or an extra pair of mothering hands to help care for older children and get on top of household tasks while you take some much-needed time to rest and recover, my role is individualised to your own specific needs, at whatever point you find yourself in your parenting journey.

Alongside hands-on support in the days and weeks following your baby's birth, I offer psychological wellbeing sessions, creating a safe space in which to breathe and unwind, process your pregnancy and birth experience, share fears and worries, and focus on your own health and wellbeing.  These sessions can take place online, or face-to-face in the comfort of your own home, or even during a walk and talk session outside in nature - perfect for calming your senses and settling a tired baby.


Having training as both a midwife and clinical psychologist, I am passionately committed to offering truly holistic, meaningful support which addresses both the physical and emotional needs associated with this exciting and challenging time.  I believe in providing families with reliable, up-to-date, evidence-based guidance and support, empowering you to make the decisions which feel right for you and your family.
